Hi Courtney, Puddin is a very sweet girl! She definitely deserves a loving home - being here is very scary for her. The adoption fee is normally $110, but I would definitely offer a discounted rate for a qualified adoptor to encourage them to take on a senior kitty! She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, FELV/FIV negative, has had a thorough exam and full blood panel recently, has had fecal testing, and is current on flea and heartworm preventative. In short - she is all ready to be adopted into a loving home! Puddin' would love for you to come in and meet her!

I came across Puddin on PetFinder. I am looking for an elderly cat to give a home to. It always breaks my heart that an animal would one day have it all, and when their parent dies they have to convert to shelter life.
I have two small dogs who love to play, and have been around cats before when I cat sat. They sniff and ignore. I also have two stepchildren (8 and 10) every other weekend. They are very respectful to animals as well. What is your policy for adoption? Fees, etc? Still attempting to sell my husband on this...so very hard! :)

Hi Cathi! All but one of the brown tabby females are still available. The adoption fee is normally $110, however we are currently offering discounted rates to qualified adoptors. Kittens are 2 for 1 or $80.00 individually.

Mulligan is still available :) He would probably do well as a companion for a lonely cat, since he has gotten along with everyone so far! He's a very sweet kitty and I encourage you to come meet him in person - you won't regret it!

Is Mulligan still available? We have one lonely cat since the loss of our cat's bast friend and housemate, and were thinking Mulligan might be a great companion.

I am very interested in Mully is he still available? He would become the brother to another cat Faga whom we have had for about 6 years.

Thank you Kristen!!! This is an extremely important on-going issue; hopefully your well-written blog will help.

It's heart-breaking to watch "dumpees" struggle with their fears and confusion. They deserve more compassion and consideration from their caretakers.

After all, they are 100% dependent on their humans to do right by them. It's not as if they have any choice in their circumstances.

Thanks again Kristen! Maybe more people will be reminded of the "put yourself in their shoes" brand of thinking/philosophy.
